As only one of three times in her life the grandchildren made it to America, Linda relished the time with them in the RV and at the event while the parents did their thing. Linda loved them so much that she continued her back and forth to Dubai amid aging frame and flagging finances. Nothing fiscally undermined, just not limitless funds and budget…
It did seem Linda was deep into transitional processing. They agreed at that relatively late date to set up a Special needs Trust Fund for Jared, something they’d tried and waffled about for years. Yet she couldn’t bring herself to dealing with Advanced Directives, an updated Will, directions on caring for Jared, all the things one is advised to do early in life or at least when retiring, for reasons that became painfully obvious two years later when they learned of Linda’s diagnosis.
CAUTIONARY ADVISEMENT: This website intends to celebrate Linda’s life, to memorialize her accomplishments and her most elevated self. Additional detail and personal reflections can enrich appreciation of what Linda accomplished yet may feel irrelevant or even controversial to others. To keep the primary focus on what matters most, additional detail is reserved for these Read More pages linked from the Timeline.
Please respect these additional subjective and in-depth accounts as intended to illustrate deeper and perhaps the most admirable aspects of Linda’s humanity, and as part of her partner’s bereavement and healing process. Sections with especially subjective first-person and personal recollections are identified with a note saying: Her Partner’s Personal Perspectives.
