Over the years Paul’s brother’s son, nephew Christopher, came with Linda through France, on Green River trips with the family, and to the Grand Gallery. This year the dude decided to marry. With all Linda went through that year, it took a lot for her to come to LA for the wedding, but she did.

The wedding took place in a local state park, a beautiful setting, albeit one where walking from the parking lot to the wedding site required not freaking out at the two six-foot long rattlesnakes sunning themselves, which then irritated, slithered away into the surrounding bushes. No problem, just stay out of the bushes!

It was a beautiful ceremony and family celebration after, but kind of sad for Paul given Linda’s and Paul’s relationship status.

Immersed, she became immersed. ‘Nuff said.

So much of India resonated in her: the place, the vibration, the antiquities, the people. She brought back to Paul a brass vial containing waters from the Ganges, said to purify even the most clouded of souls.

Teeth. Damndest things. Coming back from India in euphoria, new dental implants went sideways – infections, pain, fistula, with antibiotics that tore up her stomach and along with the pain sent her heart into tachyarrhythmias. After multiple rounds of ever more powerful antibiotics continued to fail and produce these side-effects, she consented for Paul to override the dentists and to order injection antibiotics that he gave her for 2 weeks at home. It resolved the infection and pain, but NOT the anormal racing in-and-out heart rhythm.
