Linda in the next years moved with her practice from Conifer, working inside but independently within a chiropractor’s office. She developed a thriving Worker’s Compensation acupuncture referral practice, starting with Paul referring from his own Occupational Medicine HealthOne clinic. In that sense, so long as she remained independent, they worked together and collaborated. But even with Paul helping her nascent independent practice, Linda would accept little of it, and then she accepted none of it. At one point Paul joined an integrated medicine group practice, chiropractors, Ayurvedic medicine, Yoga Therapy, functional medicine, and three medical doctors. Linda came in to do acupuncture for a time. But her steady course led higher.

Her parents hoped so, hoped she’d never have to go through similar trials and travails ever again.
